What is an Executive LLM?

Several law schools have started offering an Executive LLM. An Executive LLM is a part-time postgraduate law degree for working professionals who have obtained at least several years of post first law degree work experience in law. Legal work experience would include working in a law firm, government or company legal department, NGO or an international organisation An Executive LLM is part-time and usually completed over several years. The LLM course is divided in modules of weeks or weekends.
